Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ appears on Geekbench with key specs ahead of launch

Motorola is set to unveil the Edge 70 Pro+ in India on June 4. The Lenovo-owned brand has revealed the Edge 70 Pro+’s design and colors, but it’s yet to detail the smartphone’s specs sheet. However, ahead of the launch, the Edge 70 Pro+ has popped up on Geekbench, revealing its key specs.

There are multiple Geekbench entries for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ with different scores, but all list the same specs: Android 16, 12GB RAM, and a MediaTek MT6899 octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.2GHz, three cores clocked at 3.2GHz, and one core clocked at 3.4GHz. The Mali-G720 MC8 GPU handles graphically intensive tasks, suggesting the Edge 70 Pro+ is powered by the Dimensity 8500 SoC.

Geekbench doesn’t divulge anything else about the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+; however, Indian online retailer Flipkart previously revealed the smartphone will come in three colors and finishes, and feature a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera using the Sony LYTIA 710 sensor.

Rumors claim that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is a rebranded Edge 70 Pro launched outside India. The difference between the Indian and global Edge 70 Pro is that the latter comes with a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera and wireless charging.
