Snavs returns to Dim Mak with chill dance vocal single ‘Want Me Back’ ft. Karl Boëthius
At the helm of his own label, Riotville Records, Snavs is dedicated to exploring new musical territories. His career is marked by diverse collaborations that have challenged genre conventions, working with a range of artists from metal band Telos and Scandinavian rock legend Ulf Scott to alt-rock’s Søren Buhl and indie vocalist Karen Lassen. On his latest, the Danish producer collaborates with Swedish artist Karl Boëthius for “Want Me Back,” blending chill dance with alt pop touches. Opening with downtempo melodies and Karl’s sultry vocals, the song poignantly reflects on the realization of unreciprocated feelings. Snavs introduces future bass influences in the chorus and breakdown, infusing a lively and dance-friendly quality into the track.
This release marks Snavs’s first of 2024 on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, following his previous collaboration “Headlights” with John Alto.
